Purely speaking image quality, HDMI is the same as DVI, it's just a different connector. You can buy adapter cables from one to the other if necessary.

BUT ... DVI does not have audio or anything else, it only transfers the image. I don't know if Playstations have a separate cable for audio?

The 2412 is a great monitor for the price. Only sometimes the backlight can have some bleeding in the corner.

If you want the best for gaming there is the popular Asus VG278HE, but i haven't seen what the difference is myself.

You could also probably get a big ass television for the same price.

Same thing happened to my LG, blinking light but didn't "start up".

How can i activate the color management in Firefox ? Browsed through options but don't see it.

Well isnt't that the problem ? About everything is braindead. There are very few color-aware applications ...

The whole of windows and the internet seems a bit oversaturated to me.

I bought a standard gamut monitor because i was hoping to prevent problems like these.

Then if it is indeed a wider gamut, shouldn't it be more towards the green instead of red and blue ?

I've calibrated my monitor with the Spyder4Pro, but it shows that it goes outside the sRGB spectrum quite a bit.

Is this normal, and is it good or bad ? Or can it not be correct ?

Red shows my monitor, green is as you know sRGB, and purple for AdobeRGB.

What do you think ?
