Solution for samsung 193P under linux

    As I red on this forum and in other papers there is no way to use the 193P under linux, as I'm also interested to get one, I have an idea:what's about Wine|VMWare|win4lin to be able to use the magicTune software under Linux, I want you to tell me what do you think about that? Have you tried such a solution?

    The software uses DDC (Display Data Channel) to communicate with the Monitor, which is pretty low-level stuff. I don't think any emulator/virtual machine layer supports it.

    there is a project for using DCC/cl for controling monitors under linux. it works with
    samsung 173p/193p and other monitors (also CRT) :

    i think currentliy its only an option for the advanced user, as its in early development state.
