Hello,
I am currently using an IIyama HM704 CRT with a monaco optix XR for calibration.
I am looking for a new monitor (my first ever LCD) for private use. I am using my monitor for 50% photographic use, 25% and 25% internet.
I think that for photographic editing a 16:10 wide screen makes much sense, because it's almost identical to the 15:10 aspect ratio of my camera (DSLR).
I know that the Ezio S2110 is very good, the S2410 also, but the S2410 hasn't a perfect uniform illumination. Overhere (Netherlands) the Eizo's are still very expensive compared to Germany
I also know that the NEC LCD2190UXi is very good (4:3), but NEC will launch a new 26" monitor that will be available with a few days/weeks.
What are your opinions about this new NEC2690WUXi? I has an S-IPS panel (true white etc..), the price of the 2690 will about 100 euro more then the 2190UXi.
Are the NEC's UXi panels in the same leage as the Eizo S2110 / S2410...
Do you plan to test the NEC 2690WUXi
