2 x 19" TFT Replacement for F930 Eizo

Hello,

Sorry for the English, I read German but am not able to write it well enough yet.

I am currently using 2 x Eizo F930 CRT displays. This setup has been serving me well for over 10 years or so, but now I want to replace it by TFT panels.

After doing some research I am thinking of purchasing 2 x 19" panels for use with my XP computer.

I am looking for good quality, flimmer free displays.

I use my computer for appr. 12 hours per day, so this requires good quality no ?

- I don't game, only Sim City and Civilisation III every now and then
- I don't do graphic, just the occasional holiday picture
- I watch DVD's sometime

My computer is mainly used for Office applications, and application development, and of course EMail. I do a lot of on-line meetings with video.

Which would be the optimal setup in terms of displays, 2 x 20" or 21" is also possible. The distance between the screens and my eyes is appr. 60/70cm at all times.

... I forgot to mention that money is not really all that important, but I don't want to fall in the great "marketing-trap" which as with all other electronic devices also exists with the Display world. I just need a good basic screen, no gimmicks etc. I will probably only set the system once (like my F930) and then never again, so wether the buttons are black, blue or white, situated at an easy to reach place or not ... this is not important.

I just want excellent screen quality. I used my F930 for a decade, I won't expect to do so with the new displays, but I will want use them for a s log as possible... so technical quality is also important.
