    BenQ FP241W (BFI) High Definition

The FP241W (BFI) wide-screen LCD monitor features the world-leading BFI technology, a high resolution of 1920x1200 and HDMI connector. The world-leading BFI (Black Frame Insertion) Technology is the advanced technology of Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) Technology. By using BFI Technology, the spatial-temporal integration can effectively reduce the ghosting effect caused by the slow pursuit and low pass effect of the human eyes thus provides clearer motion pictures.

The FP241W is the first monitor of its kind with a HDMI connector worldwide. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) TM technology is the latest digital technology to connect set top boxes such as PS3 in an efficient and easy way whilst carrying HD audio and video signals in one single cable.

On some other place, the seemingly same(?) technology is called "Black Data Insertion" (BDI), BenQ appears to prefer BFI though.

Availability expected in June 2006 (other press release)

  • Hallo,

on benq's homepage the following stands :

    "BenQ FP93G X, Super-Fast 2ms, Super Slim Bezel
The BenQ FP93G X features lightening-fast 2ms gray-to-gray response time, a super-slim 13mm bezel and a high contrast ratio 700:1. The BenQ FP93G X is targeting professional gamers who have high demands for superior display performances. The FP93G X (BFI) will also be temporarily sold on the market."

    (quelle: ganz unten)

Does that mean, that a fp93g x will appear, which will support the new technology BFI? BFI is the same as BDI or?
