Hi all,
Firstly let me say what a great site! The review on the 2333HD was more than complete i must say!
On page 12 you note:
QuoteAn image display pixelled through overscan is delivered by the Samsung 2333HD when it is connected to a PC via HDMI cable. The image is also interpolated into the native resolution of 1.920 x 1.080 pixels and displayed as blurred. We found no solution for this problem.
There is actually a way to get this to work - at least i could on my Nvidia 260GTX (MSI) - I use a DVI to HDMI converter then connect to the 2333HD HDMI1 input. The trick consist in setting the graphic setting to 1920*1080p Native, at this point the screen goes into 24Hz and the image is blurry; On the remote of the 2333HD press Menu, go to Input menu > Edit Name; Now go down to the HDMI1 and set it to "PC" > Magically the Picture becomes perfectly sharp @60HZ!
The only problem i found with this is that for some reason the color are then stuck at 16Bits, switching to 32Bits color will bring the refresh rate back to 24Hz.
For now im still using the HDMI cable but i created a custom resolution of 1920*1080 @60Hz and 32Bits color. Great screen!
