    greetz

  • Isn't it the very same like the IIyama E481s, only from NEC?

Well I would like to see a Viewsonic with the new panel!

    Just wait a bit ;)

    Greetings

  • Good idea to discuss about new 19'' IPS panels & monitors...

Totamec don't say "yes", "not", "can be", ... :)

...but seem the Nec 1960NXi has a LG.Philips panel.

So Nec will use his own panel only in the 1980SX+/i model???
    ?(

...or Nec don't make any proprietary panel?
    8o

    I like to see a comparison 19'' S-IPS vs. MVA (16ms gray-to-gray)...

I like to see the Samsung move...
Samsung is a BIG LCD manufacturer and is not possible they don't have an answer in the 19'' size.

    Ciao 8)

  • Lol.

    Let´s wait dude.

In the premium sector I told already:Ii will not buy any lg products, so I´ll wait for the 1980i - if my informations are right ;)

Samsung isn´t that big player on the market at the moment. Prad gave some informations about the market share. I will look out for them and make a translation.

I think that most of the consumer-product-producers will go direct to the 20"ig market and 21".

15" is dead for private users, we all know that. 17" is only for players and acer/ benq, ctx etc. are really strong in this sector. 18" manufactering is too expensive against the 19". now we are at the 19" market, but I think there we will have the same situation like now with the 18" ips and 19"ips. the 20" prices will be kicked down and go under the 19" line. so most of the producers will jump that step to save costs.

    greetings

  • I can't access the premium section... I'm convincing myself to pay the ticket... ;)

    Samsung + Sony
(I don't know if the agree is only for LCD-TV panels)

They can lose market share but already have 57'' 8ms (gray-to-gray) panel (?)
    We will see...

19'' is good for programming because the pixel size.
So I hope they will not extinguished like 18'' :(

    Ciao

  • Maybe that´s the sector they want to go in: large displays for LCD-TVs. Did you ever try to buy a LCD-TV? I did so, and only Samsung Sharp are payable.

Let me say, that I tried the samsung and it worked around two weeks fine, than the problems started. Samsung- No thank you ;)

    Greetings

  • Zitat

    Samsung- No thank you

    I don't like Samsung products too. X(

They publicize their products as professional grade, but it's not the reality.

I have used SyncMaster 191T and 172T and build quality and controls is far away from Eizo or Nec levels...

    Greetings

  • Quality is equal to the service: simple under every level i know!

  • Hi,

I´m very surprised about the fully black cabinet. I thought the case would look like the 1860nx with a silver frontpanel.

    click me to see it

And then I had to read the following:

"-Rapid Response™ technology that provides full-motion video display
with typical response times of 25ms, virtually eliminating ghosting or blurring"

here´s the link with the information (already been posted by miomao)

Is this a new technology or only marketing bla bla?
Does Iiyama E481 have this technology, too?

@Totamec: THX a lot for this information:

"In the premium sector I told already:Ii will not buy any lg products, so I´ll wait for the 1980i - if my informations are right"

    Greetings :))

  • Why won't have the 1960NXi Pivot? The product website says that the 1960NXi white and black edition will have Pivot.... what is the truth?

I hope the both will have pivot, because i will buy this great tft ;)
