Hi miomao,
you are still here, great! Thanks for the EIZO news. It seems to be, that Eizo established a new level natural colour reprodution. Competitors have to compare with it. I am wondering to see this model in reality.
Also new: Eizo gives 5 years warranty and/or max. 30.000 usage time of the monitor. The wrranty is limited to 3 years only for the panel and backlight.

Hi Weideblitz,
I have a few time but I can't leave the best LCD board...
ZitatThanks for the EIZO news.
Nothing... I only report public news before someone else...The first desktop LCD with LED backlights CG220.
The first LCD with hardware acceleration L578/L778.
Recently Eizo seems to do many good things... -
According to several retailers in Finland, L887 should be available in mid January in EU.
I'm ordering one for my clinet, who needs a new display for DTP/photo editing.
I hope it's better than L885, which was still no match for a decent CRT (at twice the price).
regards,

Well after two L887 units later:
- first one had a color non-uniformity issue in one corner. It went back immediately.
- pretty ok tracking, but the colour space is somewhat limited
- not the best contrast, although quite good
- even with the bigger LUT, the grey scales show slight banding
- not good for video / moving images / gamesAll in all not bad, but I'm tempted to say that the DELL FPW2405 I evaluated at the same time is a better deal overall, even for image editing.
