I prefer to maintain my own posts. If you have blocked me by using the 720 min limit to access
editing and failed to remove the limit after 24 hours and suggest that you will enter my edit by
personal message then I would suggest that you are invoking censorship. It is not acceptable
forum behavior. Lift the block and we can continue to communicate.

The limited editing is a protection against missuse. We don't want to have users to edit or delete their posts after a certain period because some decided to do that e.g. out of a dissension or things like that. By that discussions became no longer traceable and provable.
I really don't think its some kind of censorship. If you are different opinion you are free to choose other media to communicate 
Because of our experiences with free editing we won't change this setting.

You are not paying attention. It has been more than 24 hours.
My access is blocked to edit my post.
Therefore it appears that you are spamming...

And it will be still blocked... This automatic rule applies to everyone here without any exceptions.
Only Admins and Mods can edit posts after 24h, of course.

You Shoggy and Rinaldo are being abusive. There is no indication of editing abuse in my posts.
I attempted to edit before the 720 min ruling and shortly there after. This 24 hr Admin rule is nothing
more than a fabrication.
It seems that you are reacting to the HDCP issue in the only way that you know how and this means to
me that you support HDCP and it's use. I can imagine that you can hardly wait for Vista. If this is the case
then why don' you start your own thread and honestly solicit support. Get off of this thread to do so.

To stay at the facts: I even have not read your first post and also don't care about HDCP or whatever because I use my PC for work/games and not for watching movies.
I only saw that you are "flaming" against this 24h rule and wanted to mention that this is a automatic feature from this forum and affects every normal user here because to me it seems you are thinking that this lock was done by hand and only for you and this thread.

Mhhh, there are two possibilities:
1.) You have forgotten to write down your own text
2.) You think we are all evil and I could change my post afterwards so you did a copy as evidence and if one or both posts will be changed it will proof your censorship theory 
Come off it. The only one whos being abusive is you, y eye. The restriction affect all users as shoggy already said and it does not affect only you. The problem ist that some users missused the possibilty of editing posts anytime. So thats why editing is restricted.
And by the way as far as I know its 20 minutes you can edit your post and not 24 hours. I'm not sure. Anyhow, it doesn't matters.
If you don't like it you can lump it
