Color on wide gamut panels have different color primaries compared to sRGB ones, so all the color mixing will be different. Most wide gamut panels don't have any kind of real sRGB settings: they usually have a static sRGB mode, that merely attempt tone down over the top color, but it is only a rough approximation, because you are still mixing different primary Red, Green and Blues.
How does things looks thru a wide gamut panel display?
Games, movies and web pages are supposed to use SRGB color space so, do they look over saturated on a wide gamut panel display?
I'm a web designer so I need a monitor with a quite good colors representation and that's the reason I would lilke to know if I can buy a wide gamut panel display or it's better for me to avoid them.
