Monitor for graphic work

    Hello to all,


    I'm having doubts on what to do ...


    I have a NEC 2470WNX that i really like, but there are some minor aspects that i keep noticing and i get really unpleased with them...


    When working with gradients, the gray gradient keep showing banding for example.


    Second, i find it hard to calibrate the image ... i find the colors a little different from this screen to my work screen.



    So, i'm trying to find another LCD for graphic work... but i'm having some problems choosing because i don't know if i will gain that much changing from this 2470WNX to another ...


    So, the displays i have now to choose are:


    a) HP LP2475w
    b) NEC Multisync 2690WUXi2
    c) Apple LED Cinema Display 24"
    d) ... don't know more :)



    So, in your opinion, which will be the best option so i really notice difference from my 2470WNX image quality?

    First thing I would do is to buy a calibrator, it's almost impossible to manually calibrate a screen for professional usage, an i1 lt or i1 2 is a good choice.
    Some screens can come very uncalibrated from the fabric, I almost got a chock when I first looked at my Nec 2690 uncalibrated, but after calibration, everything was fine.
