Confused between Dell U2311H Rev. A00/A01 or Nec EA231WMi

    Hello guys, my main concern is to watch movies and then games so which
    one is the way to go Dell U2311H Rev. A00/A01 or Nec EA231WMi?


    Could u plz tell me and help me in this as u have any knowledge regarding Dell U2311H Rev. A00/A01?


    But according to the reviews of TFTCentral on both the LCD monitors, the NECEA231WMi has more backlight bleed than the Dell U2311H.


    Is backlight bleed and tinting issue has been really improved in Rev. A01?


    coz Dell U2311H Rev. A00 is only available here so what to do now?


    Plz do tell me more information between both the revisions?



    I have just talked to the dell customer service representative and they
    said that backlight bleeding and tinting issue has been resolved in the
    rev A00.


    but still I m in dilemma about this term.


    Also out of these 2 LCD's, which one is the way to go as I have already mentioned my usage.

    According to tftcentral and flatpanelshd the U2311H is the way to go. Both say responsiveness is better on the Dell due to OverDrive as far as I remember.

    No offense man, but I think U've made a wrong decision. I'm writing you from a Dell u2311 that I purchased after returning an u2711. There're a couple things I've been able to notice at this point:


    1º The manufacture of this thing is just more than poor. I mean it. I cannot touch the plastic at the sides of the screen 'cause I'm afraid they could break if I pulled too hard.


    2º and related to 1º. Due to the low quality materials, one side of the the monitor is higher than the other. About 1inch lower in the right side.


    3º Dont want to scare you, but... I see light flashes from time to time when using it.


    I'm returning it on Monday and going for a more robust one... maybe NEC or EIZO
