    It´s better this way:

If you go to the Eizo German website and you see in the Business-Standard section the specs tab of the Eizo S1902 you will see that its typical response time rise and fall of 4,5 / 1,5 ms black to withe (4,5/1,5 ms, Schwarz-Weiß-Wechsel) how this translates in black to black and grey to grey?
For example the S1901 (other eizo) says in the front page were are all the 5:4 monitors that have 6ms Grau-Grau-Wechsel ie 6ms Grey Grey Change = 6ms GTG but in it´s specs tab also say´s (as the S1902) 4,5/1,5 ms, Schwarz-Weiß-Wechsel ie black withe change = black to withe! This is a typo or 4,5 / 1,5 ms black to withe = 6ms GTG?

In Eizo´s global website says 5ms black to black for the S1902 :pt1cable: :sarcastic: .

There was the Eizo S1911 witch discontinued i think a few months ago and in its specs showed 2ms GTG but this contrary to the S1902 had an Overdrive, so why don´t they say the same GTG response? because 5ms BTB is about 2ms GTG right?

I need a small but good gaming monitor but the wide 19" and 20" are very small vertical wise, so it´s difficult :heink:

BTW anyone seen a review of this new S1902?

    Hi,

If you go to the Eizo German website you see in the specs tab of this link this link http://www.eizo.de/monitore/flexscan/business-standard.html that (translated from German) the new Eizo S1902 have a typical response time rise and fall of 4,5 / 1,5 ms black to withe (not Black-White-Black) how this translates in black to black and grey to grey?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I am not talking about non TN monitors: in the last 2 months been seeking for a
new monitor and after seeing about 10 connected to my laptop, not Monitor
nets and bought 5 (3 was blind bought online based on great user
reviews), i concluded that today is even more difficult to find a good (i
am spoiled by my last) monitor because i am searching for a 22" and in
2006 i searched a lot also but that time only max 19". I comproved this
theory because every time i saw a bigger monitor in the same series for example
Asus VH222h and then Asus VH242H and Asus VW246H etc i saw a mix of loss of
vivid colors, loss of vibrant colors, accurate colors etc. I think that this is
related to that the bigger the monitor more difficult is to get a quality
    contrast.

The 2 monitors that i bought after seeing was 2 premium Samsung´s, the first
one i let me go with the enthusiasm and lack of experience and the 2º was
really good according to the actual offer in 22"´s but it hurt my
eyes, i couldn´t game for more then 1 hour!

Now my search includes non TN models and i am willing to spend until 1500 eur
(1650 dollars) but preferably not so much,
    principal use is gaming.

It seems that the Prad tested (and in the Prad gaming recommended list) Acer
B223W is somewhat like what i am looking, almost accurate colors game wise,
solid and vivid colors and image uniformity but in Europe i can only find the
    Acers: Acer.de configurations: B223WGymdr B223WGwmdr both EnergyStar 20,7
    W, Acer.fr configurations B223PWymdr and B223WGOymdrin, no B223WB but in
    the specs:

    • B223WB: Energy Star® On: 30W, Off: 0W, Standby: 0.7W
    • B223WG: Energy Star® On: 20.7W, Off: 0W, Standby: 0.46W
    • while the Acer B223w tested by Prad as a operation power consumption
of max. 65 which is confusing, what should i get?

The Alienware OptX AW2210 is another one in my
    consideration ,
but i don´t think i can stand the back light bleeding. If you see this link and
Acer B223w Prad test you will see how my taste is.

Another one that I like (which for me is the 1st
one in the spot on colors in the computer graphics department)
but I think that has exaggeration in some colors

In non TN models i am considering the Eizo S2100 (in the Prad gaming
recommended list but I wish it was wide screen and newer) and the Dell
2209WA ( but i read very negative things about the lighting).

    Any help or more suggestions?

    Hallo Experten LCD
