    HP stellt 23-Zoll-Monitor HP f2304 im Breitbildformat vor
    Mit Videoeingängen, Digital- und VGA-Eingang
    Der neue 23-Zoll-LCD-Monitor von Hewlett-Packard, der HP f2304, besitzt ein 16:10-Breitbild-Format und kann so 1.920 x 1.200 Pixel darstellen. Die Reaktionszeit wird mit nur 16 Millisekunden angegeben.


    Die Kontrastrate wird mit 500:1 und der Betrachtungswinkel mit 176 Grad angegeben. Die Bildschirmdiagonale des Gerätes liegt bei 54,4 Zentimetern. Für die Befestigung an einer Wand oder einem schwenkbaren Arm ist der Metallfuß des Monitors abnehmbar.


    Das Gerät bietet erstaunlich viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten, wie einen VGA-Eingang, ein DVI-Interface sowie Component-, Composite- und einen S-Video-Eingang. Beim Anschluss zweier Signalquellen ist eine Picture-in-Picture-Funktion möglich.


    Das Gerät kommt mit integrierten 5-Watt-Stereo-Lautsprechern auf den Markt und soll HDTV-1080/i/p-tauglich sein. Ein Tuner ist jedoch nicht eingebaut. Das Display misst ohne Fuß 42,8 x 64,2 x 19,7 cm und wiegt 10 Kilogramm.


    Der platinblaue Monitor HP f2304 soll ab sofort für 1.699,- Euro im Handel erhältlich sein.


    In dem amerikanischen technischen Datenblatt (pdf) zu dem dort ebenfalls erhältlichen Display wird von 25 Millisekunden gesprochen. Es ist allerdings nicht ungewöhnlich, dass im Laufe des Produktlebenszyklus der Geräte bei Verfügbarkeit auch bessere Panels eingebaut werden. Beim Kauf sollte man sich dennoch die technischen Eigenschaften zusichern lassen und ggf. ein Umtauschrecht vereinbaren. (ad)

    Nach dem was man im Matrox Forum so lesen kann, ist der f2304 das Schwester-Display zum L2335. Ich wüßte nicht, wo der Unterschied sein sollte, das was Du schreibst, trifft alles auch auf den L2335 zu, der hier im Forum hinlänglich bekannt ist...

    habe in einem englischsprachigen Forum gelesen, dass dieser Monitor sich besser fuer HDTV eignet als der L2335. Leider ist er in Deutschland nicht aufzutreiben, auf der HP-Homepage wird er gelistet (fuer 1599) aber ohne Link. Weiss zufaellig jemand wo ich den Monitor kaufen kann.

    If HDTV features are what you want, we recommend you shell out the extra cash and get the HP f2304 which has more of a TV feel to it than a monitor.
    Those looking for an LCD monitor with more television like features will want to pay the extra few hundred dollars and go for the HP f2304 which uses the same LCD display as the L2335 but also adds integrated speakers and a more stylish consumer friendly aesthetic design. f2304, which is geared more towards the consumer market and features more HDTV functionality such as integrated speakers and readily available input connections.

    hab noch was gefunden


    Couple of thoughts, this screen doesnt seem to have the same backlight issue as the l2335. Also, the construction feels alot more sturdy and nicer. The back area also doesnt seem to get as hot to the touch. Also dont know if its me, but the viewing angle seems alot nicer with the f2304. Definitely doesnt fade as much when viewing from the sides. Also looks like there is some sort of converter for svideo/composite viewing. The xbox looks alot better with svideo than using the l2335.
    After playing with both screens more, it looks like the f2304 really is put together nicer. The viewing angle is better when looking from the sides, and is probably a lil slimmer in depth compared to the L2335, however it is much wider in specs. The funny thing is, it feels like the f2304 is lighter than the L2335, probably due to the stands being quite different. The F2304 is definitely not as versatile as the L2335 and the side speakers are actually not to shabby.
