Opinions on Samsung 971p

    Hi,


    I have an option of these two monitors:
    Samsung 971p for 400€ (In Croatia)
    and
    EIZO LCD S1910-K for 487€


    My use would be 50% photography, 25% web, 25% games.


    I look for color accuracy and decent speed and contrast...


    Considering the prices could you please comment the two choices.

    Although the 971p looks better on paper as far as technical specs are concerned, there are not many user reports available about it yet. But so far nothing negative either.
    The S1910, on the other hand, is a well proven monitor with lots of positive user reports available, and will certainly meet your needs.
    You'll have to decide if you are willing to take to take that slight risk of going for the very new and untested - yet promising - Samsung, or instead take the safe route with the Eizo.
