Eizo 1910 / Nec 1990 Sxi

    Hello everybody! I red Prad reviews about these two monitors, Eizo 1910 and Nec 1990 Sxi. They seems very good for graphic work. I'm going to buy a LCD for good graphic work with Photoshop (but not professional). Which is better?
    -In Italy Eizo 1910 costs 500 euros. Nec 1990 sxi 600 euros.
    -Eizo 1910 is a quite old monitor but it still seems outstanding. Nec 1990 SXi is younger and has more color control.
    -Eizo has 5 years warranty; Nec just 3 years.
    -Eizo has PVA panel; Nec has S-IPS panel which seems to be better for color work.


    1) So which is better for my use?
    2) Can I calibrate both very well with Gretag Eye One Display 2?

    1990SXi is a pro graphic monitor (LG.Philips S-IPS panel).
    S1910 is an office monitor with very good color reproduction.
    So, if the Photoshop work is your main application the answer is obvious.


    But I doubt you can still find the S1910 in Italy.
    The main Eizo shops have only the new S1931 (with some less graphic feature).
