Dilemma: NEC vs EIZO

    I've been looking for a site like this one, and i must say there is so much useful information here.


    I currently have a samsung 206bw, which has proved a very bad monitor, due to its poor colour quality and its backlight bleeding, so i will be requesting a refund for that one. X(


    I'm using the monitor primarily for games, videos and photoshop/office use.
    So after some research i ended up into a dilemma between 2 monitors.
    The eizo 2111w and the NEC 20WGX² Pro.
    I am bit in doubt concerning the glare effect that nec has since i havent seen it in real life. From what i have read eizo offers magnificent colours and a very nice 5 years guarantee.


    Any suggestions?

    What du you think about Eizo's S2231W? Here is the review.

    I've checked the review about 2231, which i must admit, looks pretty tasty. After reading the review i've started looking for it in the UK market (which for some reason finding eizo monitors is rather rare, although i believe is one of the best brands out there) but i wasnt able to find that particular model. I found the 2031 and the 2431 but not the 2231.


    Is this model far superior than the 2111w?

    I don't really know the 2111w, sorry. But the s2231w is a very new model. Here in Germany available since 01/15/2008. So it's possibly available in the UK in a few weeks.
