I have 26" LG W2600HP with revision 1 (produced in April 2008, sn. 804M).
Does anybody know, if I can get the firmware update (rev. 2)?
Here in Czech Republic I can't get proper answer, either from LG or from service.
Is it possible at all to actualize firmware in monitor? Has anyone tried to contact LG or service in Germany?
No, you can't flash the firmware on your own. You have to send the LG to the customer service.

I know, that I have to bring the LCD to the service. I need to know, if anyone in Germany actually did it and brought or sent it to LG.
Here in authorised service, they don't know anything about the update and on LG infoline is undoubtedly beautiful miss, that unfortunately does not know anything either...
I'm asking because next tuesday 14 days, in which I can the LCD return, will pass.
Normally, I would return it and wait a while and buy revision 2, but I bought rev. 1 in action with free Logitech MX Revolution mouse, which I don't want to give up
