I currently own the Dell 2000FP 20,1' TFT@1600X1200 and very pleased with this TFT screen.
My plan is to get another BIG TFT for a dual monitor setup - but the Samsung 213T that I was close to buying doesn't seem to have the picture quality that I demand - so I'll wait for the Nec 2180UX.
In the mean time I'm looking for a small sized TFT that's suitable for gaming - and consider the Samsung 172T, Viewsonic VP171 and the Acer AL732.
The Samsung should have a PVA panel and 25 ms responstime
The Viewsonic should have a MVA panel and 16 ms repsonsetime - but only 140 degress vieving angle
The Acer AL732 also has a MVA panel and looks pretty perfect spec-wise for an affordable 17' TFT
I also considered the LG 1710B - but I'm not sure about this brand.
Can some of you TFT experts plese help me....it's OK if you write to me in german - I can easily read german - but don't write so well in this language :))
