LG l1910b (English)

  • There has been a lot of rumors on the i-net about the l1910b.

This is what I have concluded:

    The l1910b with TCO03 has an 16ms s-ips panel.
The l1910b with TCO99 has an older mva panel.

So can I be sure to get a 16ms s-ips panel if I order the TCO03 version of l1910b? Is my conclusion correct?

  • maybe, but it doesn't really matter. the LGs-s-ips-technology isn't fast enough for gamers.

  • So what you are saying is that the lg s-ips panels are much slower than other s-ips panels?

So is the 16ms lg s-ips panel slower than other 25-30ms s-ips panels?

  • ledderlappan LG has corrected the L1910B response time to 25ms.

    I have used a Eizo L565 (35ms Hitachi S-IPS) and Sony X82 (30ms LG.Philips S-IPS) and they are faster than any 25ms MVA/PVA.

So I suppose L1910B is good with games............ but Flapjack have surely his reasons.........

  • ?(

on the german LG-site is the response-time 16 ms.
the same rt is for the 1910p.
but on the english site it's 25 ms.
what the hell is the right time?

edit: and on the german site is no 1910b with TCO 03 only TCO99.

  • A forum user has confirmed that L1910P is a 25ms MVA...... before LG specs change.

I personally think that info in german LG site are wrong.
But only Prad can definitely solve the mystery. ;)

  • To be correct............
german LG specs are not a fake.

They are the "starting" product informations.
Can be that after LG change they hasn't make the right update.
    ?(

  • the response time for the 1910p on the english site has changed 2 or 3 weeks ago.
but the german site hasn't changed it til now.
if the informations from the english site to the german took so long, i can only say...........poor LG.

  • I think there are two versions of the LG display. One version has a MVA panel with a contrast ratio of 700:1 and the other one, the S-IPS Version, has a contrast of 400:1 since the LG/Philips panel has only this contrast value: .
I don’t think this has something to do with the TCO label. The reason could be the S-IPS panel was not shippable at the moment of the product release or the quantity was too low so LG took a replacement. Don't forget LG's release was very early in July whereas Philips and Iiyama start delivering their 19" S-IPS displays now. I think LG will ship their S-IPS version soon, too.
I don't know how fast the brand new LG/Philips S-IPS panel is now, but I'm sure they will improve their product in production.

They are so smart that can improve their products also after production.
    :D

  • i think they can improve it anytime, anywhere ......
they come to your home and change the panel..........how funny
    :P

  • To change response time, viewing angle or anything else they don't need to replace the panel............ they simply replace the specs. ;)

And this is not only a LG habit.

No not direct, but what I have heard is that the 16ms s-ips panels should be in the TCO03 verified models.
Ohhh it's so confusing .... I really don't know if the people that are talking negative about the LG l1910b (responstime etc.) has just been unlucky and got a PVA panel version or in fact that their s-ips panels really does suck ?(

  • hi :D

Hab mir mal testweise den L1910b gekauft.... gibt ja FAG 8o

muss sagen das er gut verarbeitet ist und ein super bild hat.... die ausleuchtung ist würd ich sagen perfekt... da es aber mein erster tft ist
