Unterschied 17" & 18.1"

    Hallo,


    ich überlege ob ich das Geld für mein Viewsonic VP181b zurückkriegen soll und dann ein andere TFT kaufen. Grund? DVI-problem.


    Jetzt habe ich ein par guten Tests von den LG 1710P gelest - und sie sehen ja sehr positiv aus was die Spieletauglichkeit betrifft. Das einzige Unterschied is nur die Farbe und das eine (1.1?) Zoll.


    So, ist das 1 Zoll wirklich eine grosse Unterschied? Wenn es möglich ist, würde es spitze sein wenn irgend jemand ein Foto machen kann - mit einem 17" und 18" TFT-Monitor gleich nebeneinander in realistische Masen (ist das das Wort?).


    Ich wollte in mehrere Geschäfte gucken aber niemand hat ein 17" UND ein 18" TFT die ich vergleichen können. Deshalb dieses Thread :)

    the different ist quit great in office-applications. The writing is smaller, that is the main problem in my opinion.


    You know that pure LG products are not that well? Take a look on the ACER AL7321m please.

    Lass dich nicht zu sehr verunsichern. Wenn du ein Problem mit dem Gerät hast, gebe es zurück! Wenn er ordentlich läuft, wirst du i.M. kein besseres 18" Gerät in der Preisklasse finden!!

    thats what i fear too :/ Preferably I'd like for Viewsonic to figure out what causes the DVI problem and then produce some new fixed Monitors so i can get mine replaced.


    So far Ive waited for 2-3 months for something to happen so i believe i've been very patient with Viewsonic, having been forced to use the Analog (and having to live with the fact that my server needs displaying too).


    Guess I'll have to wait a bit more.

    You have been very patient with Viewsonic. Maybe you should give them some calls. E-Mails are easy to ignore, calls not.


    Let´s wait what the new year brings to us. I´m quit optimistic!

    Well I actually have been making a few calls to the danish division of Viewsonic - even talked to the Countrymanager himself. He actually said he had been in contact with some contacts in England (and Germany too maybe..cant remember if he said that) - but he could only say that they havent found a solution and couldnt say when it would be fixed.


    My only problem with Viewsonic has been their answers to my questions - their answers have been stupid, irrelevant and indicating that they do not prioritize the problem very highly. To receive a mail back from Viewsonic saying that it must be MY computer hardware there's something wrong with...i simply cannot respect.


    But I hope that what you said about the progress in Germany...that its true. I really do :)

    Quit hard. Maybe Viewsonic germany is really a bit more "nicer".
