1. With the computer on, plug in both DVI and VGA to the video card and the monitor.
2. turn off computer
3. remove VGA connector
4. disconnect power to the monitor. Wait 5 seconds and then plug it back in.
5. restart PC.

Did you have success ?

Das ist ganz normal.

Lightsensor is designed to hold actual brightness manually set in OSD.
So, you have 110cd (50%) under light conditions, you switch light on in your room and Lightsensor receives brighter input -> counts change. And increase brightness to 140cd (60%) to hold your preset 110cd (50%) against current light conditions.
That's the idea, but implementation is subject of each manufacturer.

Yes, I've seen it couple of times before.
It is a damaged area by higher pressure from the back or front (does not matter) side. If laptop is new you should call for immediate replacement.

You need another Sony Vaio PCG-B505BP. Ones with broken mobo should be cheap (on eBay etc.)
-
No, I do not. Sometimes yes, but just one or two slow cracklings which is normal. But not 10-20 minuttes. Try to contact your local Eizo service, I think it should be a warranty issue.

Soft table is a nightmare for every LCD. If you compare table mass with LCD mass then table dynamic easily overcome LCD. Old CRT with 20 kg not, but 6 kg LCD easily.
-
Try to search for refurbished or dead notebooks (broken mobo, etc.) of same type as you have also. You should switch panels instead of buying new one. Sometimes it is cheaper.
-
Input lag was not officialy confirmed. Some sources reported it is a problem of double - VGA+LCD that can be fixed by tweaking VGA settings.
-
In little manners it is normal.

Das ist nicht normal mit Eizo. Standby ist flüsterleise.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know

I have S1931 and I want to set colour temperature approximately to 8000K
How to do that ? There are 5000,6000 and 9300
On my old CRT I was used to 8000K and I do not have calibration sond. S1931 allows RGB regulation per basis. How to set this - pure approximation is enough.
Thanks.

Wie viel das kostet ?
Im Testberichte ist: "Preis [incl. MwSt. in Euro] 580,00"
Aber offizial Eizo.de habe: Empfohlener Verkaufspreis: 479,- Euro
Und Media-Online verkaufs diese model von 422,- Euro ?
Ich bin verirrt

beerak, the S1910 should not generate any noise. You should have exchanged the monitor. There is only a hardly perceptible humming if you put your ear directly at the backside of the monitor. If you sit in front of the monitor you should not hear anything - no matter which brightness is set.
hey man and what about this Eizo S1910 (Prad.de User)
You simply got used to that ... -
