BenQ LCD display boasts 8ms response time
[PC Pro] 12:08BenQ is releasing an LCD monitor with an ultra-fast response time of 8ms, which - it claims - is a world's first. Aimed at the home entertainment market, such as games enthusiasts or movie lovers, BenQ boasts that it 'lets the naked eye see the world the way it's supposed to be seen'.
The 17-inch monitor also features BenQ's Senseye technology, for automatically managing colour, contrast and sharpness.'The FP71E+'s superior mix of user centric functionality and state of the art LCD technology, once again places BenQ at the forefront of the LCD Display market,' said Mike Evans, BenQ's UK Marketing Director.
Generally speaking, a response time of 16ms or less makes a monitor suitable for serious gamers, so this display is more than within range.
The technical spec for the BenQ FP71E+ includes: a resolution of 1280x1024, a contrast ratio of 600:1, a brightness of 300 nits and D-Sub/DVI-D inputs. It weighs 4.7 kg.
Available worldwide from September, UK pricing for the monitor has yet to be confirmed.
