Dell 2005FPW or Eizo S1910-K?

  • Hi everybody...

I'm sick og tried of my Samsung N913 which I bought too soon after some good initial reviews. I put too much empatize on fast response rates and way too little on image quality. :(

So what do I really what? Excellent image quality as I'm a amateur photographer and thus want high accuracy of displayed colors, a fairly large color space and ability to render very subtle gradient of colors and grey. Beyond that I mostly do a lot of reading on the internet, so text rendering should be great. Finally I do some gaming now and then, but this have to take an back seat.

Since I can get Dell 2005FPW and Eizo S1910-K for the same price - which would be the best for the job?

  • Definitely the Eizo S1910-K.
Eizo is considered the cutting edge when it comes to color critical applications.

Check both our reviews of the
    S1910-K
    and the
    2005FPW

(color space as well as color accuracy measurements are included in the reviews)

  • Thanks for the reply! :)

I have already read both of your great reviews but couldn't really see from them which of the LCD's would have the edge in color critical applications.

I think that I will go for the Eizo then - unless you have another recommendation in this price segment?

    Best regards, stoffer
