Some advice needed regarding Eizo TFTs

  • Hi All,
    After spending a few hours in this forum I got myself focused on EIZO, which probably make very good TFTs.

    What I need is a TFT for a graphic-designer (web) - and I thought about -

    I thought about L778 or S1910 but still have a few questions:

L778 is currently being sold in three variants: w (450€), k(570€) and s(640€) - does anyone know the difference between those models and, more important - if it makes a different for my needs?

I got across an offer for the EIZO L985EX 21" TFT - now I know comparing a 19" to a 21" is kind of funny - but does someone know how they stand for eachother? also the l985ex has no reviews here - can someone recommend / advise about it?
What I am looking for is good color reproduction and other features which I am not aware of and that make the TFT suitable for graphic- (web) design.

    Cheers,
    Ron

    w=white
    k=black (dont know why it isnt "b")
    s=silver

    You should take a look at the new s1931, too.

  • The S1910 is one of the 19'' office monitors best suited for graphic application... but this don't means it's a "graphic monitor".
    This means that it's ideal for office work and also good for semi-pro graphic.

    If you want a wider viewing angle and avoid color dithering a S-PVA or S-IPS is a better choice.
