Sony to stop selling LCD monitors...

    Sony to stop selling LCD monitors in Japan and North America.
    According to the news, this may be the signal that Sony will completely exit the LCD monitor business.


    Bad news... but I'm not very surprised.

    I've no doubt this is for market reasons...
    But, in my modest opinion, Sony has failed to gain a strong and well defined position in the LCD monitor world.
    I know there is a fierce Taiwan/Korea competition... but it's the same for Eizo and Nec.
