Artikel in PC-News zu 19" S-IPS-Panel

    Ich sehe auch Probleme mit dem Arbeitsabstand. Ich hatte heute eine ernsthafte Diskussion mit einem Kollegen, dem bei einer Schreibtischtiefe von 90 cm und einem 18,1-Zoll-TFT der Bildschirm wirklich zu groß war. Auch solche Meinungen bzw. Empfinden gibt's ...


    Also nix mit dem 34-Zöller, ohne auf den Balkon (zum Sitzen) auszuweichen !

    Also ich gebe mir erst zufrieden, wenn ich hier Imax mäßige Zustände habe und mir nach kurzer Zeit Bildschirmschonder übel wird :)


    Kann mir denn hier niemand erklären, warum das IPS Panel besser ist als das PVA Panel?

    In my personal experience with some LCD monitors I have the opportunity to compare IPS and MVA/PVA panels and I think this:


    1 - IPS make darker color shades very well, but MVA to make the same need more lamps light.
    The result is IPS can preserve deeper black .


    2 - IPS has large viewing angle and the image is accurate all over the panel.
    MVA is large too but in the bottom right corner I see a little translucent effect.


    3 - IPS has softer ghosting .
    25ms MVA is faster in black-white switching, but 35ms IPS is less annoying in colorful moving graphics (like games).


    4 - IPS has not optical asymmetry .
    If you pivot a MVA/PVA panel you can see every pixel line as separated.



    This is only my opinion and is possible some issues are due to single monitor model.
    A great thing can be to compare NEC 1880SX with 1980SX.

    Thank you for the explanation. I think the third point you mentioned is the most interesting aspect for a gamer like me. But a dark black also sounds very good.
    I think that I will wait untill I have the oppurtunity to take a look at a 19" s-IPS Monitor.
    As I said. Rather wait another 2 months than buying a monitor with which I am not totally satisfied.

    Dark black is really very good, but I don't know if a high quality model like Nec 1980SX can make the same with PVA panel. ?(


    However you be wise to wait... :)
    When all the bigs (Nec, Hitachi, LG, ...) have their 19'' panel we can see who is the real winner.

    Thats what I immediately saw, when I pivoted my 191T the first time. Im still not quite used to it...

    Hallo, gibt es zu den IPS Panels schon Neuigkeiten?
    Lansam wird es bei mir mit dem Monitor Enger, als ich erst geglaubt hatte. Ich würde schon noch ein bischen warten. Aber es wäre mir lieb, wenn ich wenigstens wüßte bis wann ich etwa warten muss.
