I don't like so much the crystalline effect of the LG.Philips panels too. :(
I've seen with my eyes that Hitachi and IDTech can make IPS panels where this effect is nearly absent.

I know the new EIZO models only by the sisiphos CeBit photos.
    No informations available online.
In the stands you can read:
    FlexScan L568
    FlexScan L768
    FlexScan L797

If sisiphos can give the full size photos, maybe we can read the features description...

With Koreans that can have high production capacity at low cost, I think the NEC choice is not a surprise...

But why you talk so bad about LG panels? ?(

Now the LG.Philips 25ms is considered the fastest 19'' LCD and the new 16ms version can only be better (I hope).
The reason is the "crystalline effect" or you would like a deeper black?

So the AnandTech collaborator was right... :)

He said that LG.Philips make the panels for NEC and they had a 16ms 19'' panel in test production.

The panel probably is the LM190E02:

I'm sorry NEC will discontinue his 18/19 inch panels... :(
Seem Japan will exit from the LCD panels battle (with some exception)

This photo from the CeBit leaves me a little astonished.

These look as the 1980sx successor features... but the viewing angle and contrast ratio is the same of the 1960NXi model. 8o

This does me come the doubt that the new 1980i panel is the same LG.Philips.
Unfortunately the response time is not declared.

    Where is the truth?
Really Nec don't has any proprietary 19'' panel?
    ?(

    Thanks

    Thanks for the translation!

    I add the PixPerAn results:

    Mode: 1280x1024 @ 32 bpp
    Frame rate: 60.0 Hz

    Gamma factor: -
    Flag test: s->w: 100.0%, w->s: 100.0%, s->g:-, w->g:-
    Transition time: 40(33.3ms), 64(53.3ms), 56(46.7ms)
    Readability: Tempo 6
Game: Score: 36 points, Hit rate: 21%
    Streaky picture: -

Indeed the values are better than that of my Eizo L767 PVA
In the Chase test (Transition time) the worse result is between 70 and ~100ms.

So the 193P seem to be not only a great LCD for office applications, but suitable for video playback and moderate gaming.

I hope new MVA panels will reopen the competition... 8)

I've found this PDF brochure about new Samsung panels.
    Interesting informations inside...

We can expect a SyncMaster 213P?
The LTM213U4 panel is already in production...

The LTM190E4 seem to be the 193P panel... with 1000:1 contrast. 8o
This explain the words about very high contrast of new P models.

Also interesting the comparison between PVA and other technologies.
    Guess who wins? :D

    PVA is not so fast?
Don't worry, there is the DCC driving.
But where we can found these DCC monitors?
I think is only for BIG LCD-TV for now... ?(

    Greetings

    Thanks Franky

    X-Bits write:

    Zitat

fast TN matrixes suit for gaming monitors, while PVA ones, on the contrary, make a good office monitor, but are quite bad at displaying action-full computer games

But also you say that 213T has decent gaming performance.

So seem to be a tangible difference from old PVA generation (SyncMaster 191T) and the new generation (193P).

The sentence doesn´t fit to 100%. Yours is good for ebay

My sentence is only a sample, I don't know what's the better way...
I also thought to a initial message box with a "I agree" button to continue and "I disagree"/"Cancel" to leave the program.
