The new LG.Philips LM190E02 panel specs:

The response time is 25ms and not 16ms like we said.

So can be the NEC 1980SXi really have a proprietary panel.

Surprise, surprise... also a LM190E03 that look like a TN with 16/12ms (?) response time.

Someone say Radeon are limited to 1600x1200 with DVI out.

Now we have a crazy law against file sharing that Internet users hates and providers don't understand how they can apply.

In Italy there are good and honest people, but this people run far away from politics.

I don't know if the "0 pixel" is for all guarantee duration or only at buy time.

I don't think this is only for the shop because (seem) there is not any additional price.
The 170P5 cost 519,00 euro and the 190P5 699,90 (tax included).
But can be is an option...

Also the 190P5 is covered by the same guarantee.
Unfortunately the panel seems the usual 25ms MVA...

In a online Italy shop the new "PHILIPS 170B5CS LCD 17"" is sold with a "0 defective pixel" guarantee.

This can be a great news because Philips open a way that other brands must take to compete... I hope...

Onyx-Black is only a different optical filter that swap vivid colors with antiglare properties.

I've seen a S73P, colors are super but the panel surface is like a mirror...

Looking at the pictures on the right there is also a SDM-S204.

The features and recent Sony-Samsung agreement (for LCD-TV) let to think the S94 and S204 have PVA panels.

They can put a better panel... additional features like pivot, video inputs, ...
We have to see the X74 and X94 to discover.

New Sony models.
"S" series now gain also the DVI input.
This can mean in future no more people will ask:
"The DVI connection worth the price?"

I hope TFTshop will think to sell monitors out of Germany... because in Italy we have the same monitors at same price with a big delay.
And here brands like Iiyama, Hansol and others are unfindable...

Here they confirm that new Eizo L768 will have Samsung PVA panel with 1000:1 contrast (LTM190E4).

But I can't read nothing about the L797.

I don't have the absolute certainty... but seems normal that top of the line has the best panel, and by now I know Eizo habits.

Sometime the solution is so evident we can't see...

The CG19 (and probably new L797) have a Dual Domain IPS panel.

Usually these kinds of panels are produced by IDTech (IBM).
I remember the "old" L685 image was super with no crystalline effect... but very strange trail effect with moving images.

In the L568 and L768 photos in fact the contrast value before the 1 look like four digits number (1000:1 PVA), but not in the L797 one.
Perhaps the L797 will use the same mysterious panel fo the CG19 with 450:1 contrast (?)

sisiphos has published his 1024x768 size photos, but I still can't read the Eizo monitors specs.

I've read in the German News section that L568 have 1000:1 contrast.
This let me think it have the latest Samsung PVA panel.

We can use some image processing software from NASA to read the viewing angle and contrast ratio values... :]
