  • Correction:

Official Iiyama specs really talk about MVA-P panel.

    12ms standard black-white-black
    8ms gray-to-gray

    Interesting...

  • "Premium MVA" is a term that is typically used by AU Optronics. Their M190EN03 V0 panel has indeed an 8ms response time for grey to grey. The remaining specs are not exactly the same (800:1 instead of 1000:1) but are close enough to suspect that this is the panel in the Iiyama.

  • Indeed, it must be a Fujitsu panel then.

The information about the resolution is still confusing. They say 1600x1200 over DVI but only 1280x1024 over analag connection. My guess is the panel is really 1280x1024, and if you offer it a 1600x1200 signal it downscales this to 1280x1024. Or could it really be a 1600x1200 19" panel?

  • Seems that overdrive is the LCD (desktop) novelty of the year that really succeeds to improve response time.
But I will wait for LED and FFL (Flat Fluorescent Lamp) backlight.
