- Installation -
It is a little bit tricky, you must put panel into basement and tighten it with screw. Two men are better to do this.
Take care about this screw, it is easy to forget I did not find it until stand looked funny unstable.
It has safety fuse (screw) to secure foot while transporting. It looks funny, because it is a hook.
- Looks -
Grey plastics may look cheap, but rocky solid, do not allow any eye disturbance as in case of silver bezel. Black should be probably much more better.
7 buttons on the right side:
Auto adjust, input < >, selection < >, enter (ok), switch
Power control LED has decent green colour, in standby a decent orange. Switch button is in fact underlighted with this LED.
There is no master power switch, as known at P19-2.
It has automatic brightness selection depending on the room light - really interesting, I will put a report after stress test.
- Fabrication quality -
Foot stands very solid, there are no any movements during typing, even if you kick to the table (happens often for me ) Pivot and height is hold pretty fine.
- Picture -
It has no dithering, at least not noticable as in case of Samsung 940BF and others (TN and so on), it is pure 8bit. Picture is stable and text is very clear.
Contrast is amazing, black is really black. You will not notice if unit is turned on or off. Litle blur can be seen in fast scenes but its common in this technology.
Brightness can be set very low, fine for eyes.
Colours are good, I edited a couple of photos and for pure amateurs it is good choice. Not for graphicians of course. When you set low contrast there is a visible picture quality degradation, but common only.
Panel is pretty fast, during scrolling there is no ghosting, movies are excellent, I think faster than VP930, but it is just personal feeling.
- Illuminance -
Solid, corners are not lighter.
- Pixels -
I have one dead subpixel, red on white, black on blue. But not noticable until you're searching it.
- Operation -
No noise (buzzing, humming, high pitching), turned off or on.
- Controls -
OSD is good, but when you're changing brightness or contrast you must use input buttons, instead of select buttons, sometimes annoying and easy to forget.
SmartManage does not offer much comfort. There is brightness, contrast and RGB settings only available under settings ~ details in monitor settings. Long to find, I would prefer quick launch icon as viewsonic has. It forces you to use rather buttons than control application.
- Inputs -
It comes with two DVI-I inputs. That's good idea, you do not need to run your second machine on analog.
- Angles -
Moving on horizontal line black becomes more grey and grey. Angles are good, but it is still P-MVA only. Specification gives 178/178 but I think S-PVA has still better angles. But you can see whole space without colour degradation even you move normally during the work with the head down and up and left to right
- USB hub -
Do not think about this. Unit has 2 USB ports, but they're hardly accessible. If you have two DVI cables connected it is impossible to plugin anything. Cables covers space around ports. USB hub is useless.
- Comparison -
If I compare picture with others I saw, it stands with P19-2 on the same level.
- Rating -
I will try, it is just my personal feeling, so take it with reserver and do not beat me for this I think ++ rating does not allow much space for decisions, many lcds ends as sehr gut, but I do not think they're.
A lot of features are pretty good for what they're and where they're equipped. It is hard to rate colours, because although pretty good, it is still not 10bit or 14bit colour space as Eizo offers.

- Final Conclusion -
I will edit it after more time of testing, photos will come soon.
For that price (330 euro including 19% MwSt. and shipping) a good choice I think. This review is based on two 190P7EG units.
