1980SX / 1880 SX und Bildbearbeitung

    Hallo,


    ich suche einen LCD Monitor um damit professionelle Bildbearbeitung zu machen. Was ich bisher so auf dem Markt gefunden habe war relativ unbrauchbar. Das soll sich aber angeblich geändert haben. Ich habe jetzt hier und auf anderen Seiten einiges über den NEC 1880SX und 1980 SX gelesen.
    Leider steht in den Tests immer nur Spiel/DVD tauglichkeit.
    Für mich ist in erster Linie akkurate Farben und die Farbstabiliät in einem hohen Blickwinkelbereich wichtig.


    Kann mir jemand sagen welches der beste LCD Monitor für Bildverarbeitung momentan ist (unter 2000 Euro, am liebsten unter 1000 Euro)


    meine Kandidatenliste wäre in etwa


    NEC 1880SX
    NEC 1980SX
    Samsung 191T
    EIZO685EX


    bin für jeden Hinweis auf Tests oder eigene Erfahrungen Dankbar.

    Was hat denn Deine Frage unter Testberichten zu suchen? Ich habe die hierher verschoben. Gearbeitet habe ich am NEC 1980sx und am Samsung 191T. Die anderen Modelle kenne ich noch nicht persönlich. Anfang nächster Woche sollte der NEC 1880sx noch dazukommen.


    Der Samsung ist aus meiner Sicht weniger geeignet, weil die Einstellmöglichkeiten am Gerät selber (digital verbunden) gleich null sind. Alle Einstellungen müssen über das Menü des Grafikkartentreibers vorgenommen werden. Das ist völlig ungeeignet.


    Den 1980SX würde ich als voll tauglich bezeichnen. Ich bin mir aber nicht sicher ob das schon für die Druckstufen-Vorbereitung ausreichend ist, denn ich bin kein Grafiker oder Designer. Wenn Dir dieses Modell aber nicht die gewünschte Qualität bietet, kannst Du davon ausgehen, dass es dann momentan noch kein TFT schafft.

    sorry, hatte dort gepostet weil ich auf den test des 1980SX gewartet hatte und das eigentlich für mich der Monitor war auf den ich die entsprechenden Hoffnungen gesetzt hatte um um die 1700Euro für den eizo 685ex herumzukommen.
    Da dachte ich das passt dann zum 1980SX test.

    sounds interesting, but i assume thats an overkill for me. And I'm afraid that these ones will break the 2000€ wall. (as the 685EX still costs about 1600€).

    Yes, I think CG18 can be much expensive...


    I finally think to buy a L685 that now I find for 1189 euro
    ...but I'm little tempted from L767 for 1199 euro.


    I can say you surely to avoid Samsung 191T.


    I think (personally) L685EX is better than 1880SX.


    The only doubt is the 1980SX.
    I never seen a professional MVA model.


    Also LaCie has a graphic oriented LCD but 20''
    (IPS looking the specs).

    Why that? The 1980SX ist cheaper andf you got more with it..

    Which L685-aspects are more convincing for you than 1880SX's?

    Remember I'm in Italy... price and availability of 1980SX can be much different from Germany. :(


    I found L685EX more convincing than 1880SX because...


    1 - I have tried Eizo L565 (Hitachi panel?) and image is beautiful with smaller "crystalline effect" than IPS panels from Nec and LG.


    2 - All professional reviews say L685 has better image quality than 1880SX (DisplayMate and two others I have found)... and L685EX has improved color management.


    3 - I have trust in Eizo brand. Nec make anything necessary to sell... Eizo has only top quality models on catalog.


    So, in absence of a direct comparison...

    I cannot compare the image, but the feature lists. :D There I can also niot find any advantages of the L685 except the 10 bit colour resolution. But you said, it dioesn't help so much because it is not real.

    Yes, according to CRTs. In TFT they are good, but not so much better than others.

    Precisely... internal 10 bit color is not a fake and is not intended to display 1 billion colors.
    It help the monitor to make better regulations, but how much this influence on image quality I don't know. ?(


    But I personally found image quality most important than many features.


    All says "Eizo LCDs is not so much better..." but I compared a L565 to Acer AL922, Sony X82, Samsung 191T and... is really much better. :tongue:

    I've found an article comparing L685 to 1880SX and they conclude L685 image quality is a little better.


    I've seen Nec 1850 and Eizo L565 and I have the same feeling...


    However DisplayMate show L685 and 1880SX like the two best LCD on the market, and I think this is the truth.
