No impressive monitors... but more competition is always positive...
-
I have done a mistake...
The FLC48SXC8V-10 is a 25ms panel and not 15ms.I've read this statement about response time:
ZitatFujitsu will even enhance this performance figure with its new products scheduled for 2004. Whereas other grey scale response times are usually much slower, the new driving technology for TFT-Displays will have a max. response time of 10msec for all grey scale inversions.
I think "driving technology" is related to Fujitsu FFD (Feed Forward Driving) used for expensive LCD-TVs.
I have been victim of the marketing... -

mmmh... this panel seems a LG.Philips and not a NEC...
So the only monitor with an alternative panel will be the Eizo L797

He has said again that NEC has stopped production since April.
-
Samsung SDI say next year they will make 32'' CRT with depth of only 35cm and better image quality than LCD.
So CRT TV have still a future...
A related news with great photo subjects.

A convinced guy is saying NEC discontinue monitor production leaving the business to Mitsubishi.
There is something of truth?
Thanks

L1930SQ and L1930BQ?
They don't specify the viewing-angle...
ZitatThe fab is expected to start mass production of 32-inch and 37-inch panels in September next year
Sony and Samsung have finished to build their 7G fab...
but panels are for LCD-TV. -
Review in Korean language.
But you can look nice monitor photos and learn interesting things...
First, finally LG use his own S-IPS panel in the P series.
Second, the mysterious "Flatron f-Engine" is a realtime image processor that you can enable and personalize by OSD.
So you can obtain a nicer looking image... with fake colors...Greetings

Sorry... duplicate answer...

Zitat
Please tell, in more detail, what LG has done before, that was dishonnest.
LG has spread everywhere fake specifications about the L1910P model.
They said the monitor has proprietary S-IPS panel with 16ms response time.
In the reality it has 25ms MVA panel from Fujitsu.
Much similar to ViewSonic VX900...ZitatAm i missing some ?
I've read also Samsung will have a fast 19''.
But be careful that all these 12ms panels are in TN technology.
This means they don't have the wide viewing angle of your VX900 and all other MVA/PVA/IPS based monitors.
Moreover they usually display 16,2M colors with dithering. So is very strange to read L1930SQ/BQ has 170° viewing angle and 16,8 colors.
LG.Philips is producing a 19'' 12ms panel with different specs:Possible LG are doing something that all other brands only can dream?
Greetings

My second thought is LG give fake specs another time.
Remember the evil L1910P MVA/S-IPS panel exchange?
-
You can found also a L1930BQ with same specs and dual-input.
-
I think there is something wrong in the specifications.
A 19'' 12ms panel with 170° viewing angle sound very strange... -
"Comparatif LCD d'été"
Translate french to english is not a problem... bien?
Hardware.fr is a good site with a well frequented forum.
In the monitor forum section there are also several mentions about Prad. -
mmmmh... if we must pay 40 Cent per month to use the newsgroup I think it would be desert...
I think also with Google is possible to post in the ng...
I don't wish you will remain disappointed...
