Die beste Größe ist 18 oder 19??

    well, it basically depends on what you're planning to use the TFT for... I wouldn't go with anything smaller than 18" (for Video editing, DVD and gaming) I personally liked the dots per inch on my 15" TFT with 1024x768, so I chose 19" to get the same dpi on 1280x1024.

    I will use it 90% for programming and 10% for all the other things.


    I'm trying a 19'' but I find it too big.
    When I look the main menu I must rise the head. 8o


    17'' is good for view the program code,
    but something can be too small.


    I think I will go to standard size... 18''

    Regardless that a 18" isn't more a standard size as e.g. a 17", you shouldn't regret it. Even if you won't do all these intesested things like gaming or watching videos etc., it should be ok for this boring programming things too. ;)

    miomao do you translate the words or a computer program? You don't have to do this, because the german translation sometimes makes no sense. If you want to answer a posting, you can do this in english.

    I know the AltaVista translator (and any other)
    don't make a perfect work.

    For Pawi...
    18'' inch is the same of 19'' CRT viewable screen,
    and many LCD brands has best models at this size.
    But I'm sure 17'' is usable too...

    Can exists some technical equation to calculate the best size?


    Something that considers the perfect distance of the user from the LCD panel?


    ...or some optical thing ...or LCD peculiarity?
