Acer is introducing two new monitor ranges: the X1 series consists of beginner models for the office market and the X2 series in piano lacquer finish and with glare optics for design fans.
As a new feature, all models in both ranges come with Acer eColor Management, which adjusts the display to different surroundings, lighting and applications through different profiles.

Acer X2 series
The X2 series consists exclusively of widescreen monitors in 19- and 22-inch sizes, all of which feature Acer's CrystalBrite a type of
glossy layer. Performance features include
5 ms response time, a contrast ratio of
1,000:1 (X202W: 800:1) and brightness of 300 cd/mē.
Some of the X2 models feature analogue D-Sub connections and others also come with digital DVI inputs, with one model, the X222Wd, also includes HDCP. Prices are
199.00 for the 19-inch X192W,
269.00 for the X222W and b]299.00 for the X222Wd.

Acer X1 series
The X1 series includes 19-, 20-, 22- and 24-inch widescreen monitors as well as 17-20 inch models in standard format. These LCDs offer
5 ms response time, a contrast ratio of 800:1 and 1,000:1 respectively and brightness of 300 and 400 cd/mē respectively.
All models come with optional integrated speakers and a DVI input (from 22" with HDCP support). The Acer X191Bd is available now priced at
189.00 . The X191W, X201W, X221W and X241W models will be available at the beginning of August 2007.
Both new monitor ranges come with 2-year Bring-In guarantees, not with the usual three-year guarantee and pickup service.
