All values in the menu appear in percentages and figures. Unfortunately, one button push does not automatically correspond to a change of 1 percent. Thus, two clicks are needed each time the brightness value is changed by 1 percent, for example. For the Gain settings for RGB, on the other hand, 2 to 3 clicks are needed to make a noticeable change.
PowerManager Here, the user can activate or deactivate the monitor’s energy saving mode. Other Functions This menu point contains various options such as: Image size Here, the hardware-based interpolation behaviour of the monitor can be adjusted. The following options are available: Full screen, Enlarged (this means justified display) and Normal (this means 1:1 display). Border intensity This function allows the user to adjust the brightness of black borders for 1:1 or justified display. Signal priority The user can select from automatic or manual. Power off function Setting that determines after how many hours the monitor should power itself off (User can choose from values 1 to 24). The options on and off are available. Signal tone The signal tone can be switched on or off here. OSD Here, the size of the menu (normal or enlarged), the menu position, the fade time (15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds) and the transparency of the OSD window can be determined. Power LED Here, you can activate (on) or deactivate (off) the blue power LED. There is no option to reduce the LED brightness or change the colour.
Information Information on the Eizo SX3031W is displayed on three OSD pages and includes: Connection, resolution, frequency, model description, serial number and hours of use. Language As well as German, eight other languages are available to the user. The Eizo SX3031W comes with ScreenManager Pro software for considerably more convenient controls. The software works on all current versions of Windows and allows the users to set most parameters using the mouse. To use the software, you must connect the USB Uplink port with your computer.
