Philips introduces a new PowerSensor business monitor with AMVA LED technology, the 241P4QPYES/00. Specially designed for professionals who spend many hours in front of the screen each day, the monitor is set to fully support their productivity.

The AMVA technology (Advanced Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) provides an extremely high static contrast ratio for a particularly vivid, bright picture and therefore is said to be eye-sparing. Optimized pixel-management technology provides an exceptionally wide viewing angle of 178/178 degrees, delivering sharp images even at a 90 degree rotation to pivot mode.
Apart from handling standard office applications, the new Philips monitor provides ideal picture quality for professional graphics applications, web research, as well as for movies and games after work. The 24-inch screen also features sufficient space to display several programs simultaneously or compare documents side by side.

But even the most powerful machine comes to its limits, if a bottleneck occurs in the system. A typical delay factor: the data transfer rates. The Philips PowerSensor AMVA LED monitor is equipped with the Philips DisplayPort, a digital connection between PC and monitor, which ensures instantaneous data transfer. Being more powerful than the DVI standard, it supports cable lengths of up to 15 metres and allows a data transfer rate of 10.8 Gbps without delay in the image-buildup. Thus, the monitor is fast enough for everyday office use and games or movies.
The new Philips PowerSensor AMVA LED monitor 241P4QPYES/00 will be offered from late November at a RRP of 340 Euros at all MMD distribution partners.
