REVIEW: Eizo S2410W-K![]()
++ very good, + good, +/- satisfactory, - bad, -- very bad Eizo responded to the quickly growing demand for widescreen monitors by launching a 21,1 and a 24,1 inch display. We recently reviewed the 21,1 inch model S2110W-K with its largely excelling performance. Due to popular demand, we have now also tested the 24 inch S2410W-K.
Advertisement In this review, we want to shed some light on how the S2410W-K performs in practice when faced with daily tasks like working, gaming and DVD playback. Furthermore, we are also going to find out whether the S2410W-K can measure up to the very high standard set by the S2110W-K. All results issued in this review have been established using the digital input, with the exception of the test runs for analog image quality, which have been established on the analog input. Our test bed ran with a Gainward PowerPack! Ultra/2600 Golden Sample and two Point of View GeForce 7800GTX 512MB (SLI). The Eizo S2410W-K’s scope of supply comprises a short instructions sheet, an OSD quick reference guide, warranty notes, a CD, a DVI-D cable (digital), a DVI-A cable (analog), a USB cable and a power cable. The CD contains windows monitor drivers, a detailed multilingual manual in HTML format and Eizo’s Screenmanager software. The package also contains four M4 12 mm screws with flat washers which are intended for possible attachment of a VESA compliant mounting. There is no detailed manual in printed form included with the Eizo S2410W-K – unfortunately, a common practice among display manufacturers nowadays. All in all, the S2410W-K’s scope of supply can be regarded as complete.
