Introduction
With its S2111W-K, Eizo is launching the successor for the already excellent S2110W and has included some additional features in the new 21-inch monitor. These include dynamic contrast control and a sharpness filter as well as HDCP support.

Naturally, overdrive and direct background lighting are also included in the S2111W-K. The monitor, advertised as having a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000:1, should be particularly well suited for multimedia applications.
How well suited it really is can be gleaned from our detailed test report, for which the Eizo S2111W-K was put through our new, more rigorous test procedures.
Except for the analogue image quality, which was tested via an analogue connection (DVI-A), we arrived at all of the test results published here via a digital DVI-D connection. The graphics card used was an Nvidia 7800GT with two DVI-I outputs.
Scope of supply
Eizo’s new gem can easily be removed from its chic packing thanks to its classic handle. The monitor comes with all necessary cables as well as a short multilingual introduction, an OSD fast reference guide, the guarantee details and a CD containing some software.
Twist, turn, turn upside-down – none of these are necessary, since the LCD’s handle allows it to be lifted comfortably out of the carton.
