The device is equipped with MPEG-4 DVB-T/C tuners, which will allow watching standard and high definition program, along with cable TV, without the need to own a separate STB component. To watch cable TV you will need to use the Common Interface (CI) on the side of the TV, in which one has to insert a CAM module and a smartcard from the cable provider. Now watching can start!
Advertisement Along with this capability, the new series also offers NetTV feature, which gives you direct access to the internet and it’s vast selection of services without the need to use your computer. An USB port with support for different video and audio formats seems like a sweet topping on the cake – now, is it really all this great? Results of our testing are to be read hereafter.
