Colour space comparison
In the following section, we describe how well the Eizo S2231W covers various colour spaces. The sRGB coverage is important for the average user. AdobeRGB coverage and ECI 2.0 coverage, on the other hand, are more relevant for graphics workers.
Explanation of 3D view: the white grid represents the current standard colour space and the black grid represents the monitor’s colour space. The actual agreement of the two colour spaces is represented by the coloured cube. In those places where the white grid protrudes beyond the coloured cube, the monitor’s colour space cannot display the standard colour space any more. If the monitor’s colour space is larger than the standard colour space, the black grid protrudes beyond the cube.
sRGB: 98 % coverage

The sRGB colour space is covered very well and the AdobeRGB colour space is covered well. For the ECI 2.0 colour space, however, the monitor is missing some colours. Overall, for a monitor with an extended colour space and a 10-but Look Up Table, the model’s performance can be rated as very good.
