REVIEW: Dell U2410 Part 10

Just for reference, we measured the highly problematic "Custom Colour mode in its standard settings. The considerably less neutral grey axis is noticeable. On the other hand, the white point is closer to the black body curve. It is also easy to see why the CCT indication is so insignificant.

Although the correlated colour temperature has increased, the white point is also closer to the D65 recommendation for sRGB. The gradation has improved somewhat as compared with the factory setting, with a gamma of around 2,0.

The colour space limiting sRGB mode has also been implemented carefully by Dell on the U2410. The grey axis still corresponds to the UDACT targets and the deviations in the colour values are pleasantly low. Compared to the factory settings, the white point is closer to the black body curve. The gradation can be described through a gamma of about 2,1. For unmanaged environments, the sRGB mode for relevant content such as films and games is therefore a real recommendation.
